Photo (AI) uses a real segmentation model for photos with a subject — good when the subject and background share a color, like a white dress on white. RMBG is a second, often more accurate AI model — for personal testing only, not licensed for commercial/customer-facing use unless a separate commercial license is purchased from BRIA.

Off by default. Turn on for art with real see-through gaps, like a rocking horse’s legs or a mug handle. Leave off for art with large painted white highlights (glossy balloons, shiny eyes) — with this on, those highlights can get removed along with the background too, since both look the same to this algorithm: an enclosed light-colored area.
